Did you know that as of Jan.11, 2008 there are over 98,000 people in this country alone needing a transplant. Most of them are Kidney and Liver but over 2600 people are in need of a heart transplant. And if you were to divide that into 50 states that is not a good ratio. From Jan. 2007-Oct.2007 that there were 23,703 transplants done of which 18,833 organs came from deceased donors and 5,315 came from living donors.
